EXPANDING GOD'S KINGDOM
Kingdom expansion is all about God changing us, so that we can make an impact for His glory. We know that God uniquely gifts and impassions people to accomplish specific assignments while here on earth. Expanding His Kingdom is providing an opportunity for the many people who haven’t heard about our loving God, and helping them come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is healing the brokenness in peoples’ lives; bringing compassion to people who desperately need love and restoration. So we place mission over maintenance. Both are necessary. Maintenance is our ministering to, caring for, and developing of Christ followers in our house. Mission is our focus to go above and beyond in our effort to reach out to the lost every time.
ENGAGING THE NEXT GENERATION
We accept our responsibility to engage the next generation as they activate their faith. We are committed to train, develop, and raise up leaders of today’s church. Our legacy will be a thriving church for tomorrow. In essence we are choosing to be a house of multigenerational and multicultural synergy. Generations within our church family are not competing with each other, they completing each other. The Holy Spirit is being poured out on every generation. We are a place where fathers and mothers will release sons and daughters into their kingdom assignment. There is a synergy that happens when we prefer others.
EXPERIENCING INTIMACY WITH GOD
We believe God desires an intimate relationship with every believer. Through prayer, meditation, worship, and study, we can pursue and achieve intimacy with Him. Spiritual intimacy with God refers to developing a deep personal relationship with God through the Spirit and the Word. It is based on a deep understanding and knowledge of what the Word of God says about the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
EXPECTING GOD'S BEST
Our collective desire is destiny over history. Our future is greater than our past. We will glean from our history, but our focus is looking forward to the future God has prepared. We seek to be led by His presence not programs. Acts 2 happens before Acts 6; we believe it’s the oil of the Holy Spirit and the power of God that transforms lives. So lack is not a problem. God is good and we can dream His big dreams without the threat of lack. Where God guides us, He will always provide for us.
